SSANGYONG C&E currently has 12 cement-only ships, and is stably providing shipping to offshore shipping factories based on the know-how of operating cement-only ships for a long time. In addition, a 70,000-ton Panamax Bulk ship is used to transport coal and natural gypsum imported from Russia, China, Thailand, and Australia to superior domestic shippers, as well as cargo such as clinker exported from Korea to overseas.

Limestone business is largely divided into limestone for cement and limestone for steel production depending on usage. All of the production of limestone for cement is being consumed by SSANGYONG C&E. Limestone for iron production is an auxiliary material used to secure ventilation and remove impurities in the process of making steel products. SSANGYONG C&E supplies Korea's largest scale limestone for steel making, and its main customers are POSCO, the largest steel maker in Korea. Samcheok Mine where Ssangyong Cement produces and sells limestone for steelmaking, is Korea's only large-scale open-pit mine which is easy to produce and cheaper than other companies that mainly mine materials in underground mines, and it has logistics competitiveness because it is close to the port.
