Recycling business
The cement industry manages the 'Cement furnace Waste Use and Management Standards' with Ministry
of environment in accordance with the Enforcement Rules of the Waste Management Act (2011.9.27).
*We do not use designated waste except for waste absorbent agents that absorb animal and vegetable oils.
Heavy Metal Criteria for Waste Used
(Unit: ppm, kcal/kg)
Division | Pb | Cu | Cd | As | Hg | Cl | Low calorific value | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
substitution Raw |
iron | <1000 | <3000 | <60 | <500 | <2 | - | - |
Other | <150 | <800 | <50 | <50 | <2 | - | - | |
Alternative | <200 | <800 | <9 | <13 | <1.2 | <2% | >4500 |
- 1. Recycling products are excluded from the application of this standard.
- 2. The following standards apply to slag generated from the smelting factory among iron substitute ingredients:
(Pb<3,200㎎/㎏, Cu<10,000㎎/㎏, Cd<100㎎/㎏, As<900㎎/㎏, Hg<2㎎/㎏) - 3. Pb< 7,000㎎/㎏ and Cu< 14,000㎎/kg shall be applied to slag generated from zinc smelting factory among iron substitute ingredients.
The rest of the items apply the same criteria as the iron substitute. - 4. Pb< 4,000㎎/kg, Cd< 100㎎/kg, for iron-containing byproducts generated from collection facilities among steel substitute raw materials,
*All wastes are used only when the criteria are met by conducting a preliminary investigation into the characteristics of heavy metals.
